Hi, I’m Ashley Poole, a small-town girl from Washington Court House, Ohio (yes, we might just have the longest city name ever!), with a heart full of country roots and a love for the occasional big-city adventure. Give me wide open spaces, farm smells, peaceful views any day, a beach or two every now and then, that’s my happy place.
I’m a wife, a mom, a creator, and the founder of Rooted Solutions, a Christian-based business built on faith, family, and a whole lot of heart. I’ve been married to my biggest supporter and realist husband, Kevin, for 10 years. He’s the one who reminds me I can chase every dream. Together we have raised (mind I say successfully!) two incredible adult children: Shelbee (21), my creative sidekick and second shooter; Shane (18), my go-getter entrepreneur; and our youngest (still child) Preslee (10), my sweet animal lover. They, ALL four, inspire me every single day, and they’re a huge part of my “why.”
I graduated from Washington High in 2001 (Go Blue Lions!) and later earned my degree in Graphic Design from Bradford School in Columbus. That’s where my passion for visual storytelling really took shape. Photography found me back in high school. Developing film in the darkroom and design in the art room helped me realize I could do more than just take pictures. I could turn memories into art. I could capture the quiet, perfect, imperfect moments and give them life through both design and story. I could serve, and give my time and assistance and become a resource to businesses; watch them and help them succeed with amazing ideas.
Rooted Solutions has been a dream in the making for years. I started with freelance work, taking on design projects and small shoots here and there, always believing that in God’s timing, it would all come together. And now, here I am, combining my love for photography, graphic design, and purposeful content creation to help others grow their brands, share their stories, and preserve what matters most.
When you work with me, I don’t just want to be your photographer or designer—I want to be someone you trust. A creative partner. A friend. Our door (and table!) is always open.
At Rooted Solutions, we’re here to capture the raw, real, and beautiful. Whether that’s in a black and white portrait, a business logo, a training guide, or a digital report...everything I do is rooted in purpose and designed with care.
